that wouldn't work anywhere, but if you asked how long it is to 13:30,

i'd bet that 4 out of 5 would get it right. even in places like germany

where the 24 hour clock is pretty universal, you see a lot of people

using analog watches, and i've never seen one of those work in 24 hour

mode. people tend to naturally talk in 12 hour mode, even airline pilots

who use it all the time at work. my watch shows 24 hour time, but if

some-one asks me the time when it says 20:30 i'll tell them half past

eight.

i thought that i was pretty clever changing an ansett ticket to

melbourne into a united ticket to boston (:



nasa was one big forgery, the moon landings were actually done by

disney, and then uplinked through a small communications satellite to

get the correct delay. the pictures of the earth were done from a high

flying aeroplane using a fisheye lens.
