Yeap, the timeline is the same until Nero appears out of nowhere and
destroys Kirk's Dad's ship!

Then, sometime later, Kirk goes to StarFleet, studies, goes off and
beats Nero and is promoted Captain and given command of USS Enterprise.

Then (12th Movie), sometime later, other missions occur and there are
Borg in Starfleet.

So is Kirk supposed to be 25/30/35 y.o. in the current movie?? So, from
a point of time when there were no Borg known to Starfleet at all, to
maybe 25/30/35 years late, Borg are part of Starfleet!

Just doesn't seem likely!!

(But, then again, in ST:Voyager, it only took mere hours to put a former
Borg Drone into the "upper echelon" of the ships crew!!)

(And NO, anim8erFSK, this Dano's *NOT* a troll!!)
