G'day Paul,
On 03-06-95 16:10, Paul Edwards said to Jeff Green
PE> Hey Jeff, the thing you're meant to be testing is whether you
PE> can send me large files with Binkley 2.50. That was your
PE> original problem, and what you claim BTPE solved for you (IMO
PE> it didn't).
Yeah, did that. It worked with v2.50 and v3.03. Looks like you and Bill
were correct and that the mode statement is what got it working.
Hmmm, I wonder why it still fucked up the first couple of times I tried it
with a mode statement?
PE> So can you try sending me a file, and after that you can go
PE> back to BTPE 3.03 so that you can continue to do the rest of
PE> the investigation required there, specifically the various
PE> mode options,
I've used both the mode staement that Bill sent me and the one that you
sent me. They both work. What else did you want done with them?
PE> the SIO,
I've still got to d/l the latest copy of this.
PE> and I haven't yet mentioned this, but you can probably run
PE> your Binkley setup off floppy to try to see what happens
PE> under DOS. BFN. Paul.
How about a virtual DOS boot (or whatever it's called) under OS/2 off the
HD? That's if I can find a DOS boot floppy. I don't know If I've still got
one. I've been using OS/2 with full HPFS for ages now. If it doesn't work
under OS/2, I don't run it.

... Fine day to throw a party. Throw him as far as you can.
