Why should the nodes of Z3 (or any other place) have to go to such extremes
when there is no need at all to set the 000 trap in the nodelist in the
first place.

There are plenty of other places to hang the TCP/IP number if one is using
a *proper TCP/IP mailer* that do not set such traps!!
