What Barton said about a `shakedown' of BP by Obama was spot on!


The only thing Barton did wrong was retract his apology! He should have had
the courage of his convictions and stood by what he said. But he allowed
himself to be bullied into a half-ass retraction. He showed what he was made
of, after all; a politician who wants to keep his job, and will do anything to
do so. Even grovel on-camera to keep it.


For that reason alone, if I were one of his constituents, I'd vote against him
the next time he was up for election.
