| subject: | Borland C++3.1 DOS |
Hi Matthew, ML>Does anyone know if it's possible to run Borland C++ 3.1 ML>for DOS under OS/2? I've installed it and am trying to run ML>it, but I just get repeating screens are garbage, the only ML>words that can be made out are "ADD SPECIAL FUNCTION ML>IBMCACHE.COM IBMCACHE.SYS" I'm trying to get C++ working ML>so I can work on my school work at home, but I have no clue ML>how to get it running.....any suggestions would be nice, ML>thanks in advance! Yes, it runs. Because of a pecuiliarity in the way Borlands DPMI works you have to set DPMI to ENABLED instead of AUTOMATIC. For more details about running Borland DOS compilers under OS/2 the OS2DOS echo is the right place.
