JS>About 5 years ago, I was living in Philadelphia, and when I went to a
JS>Phillies game, they were selling copies of the Official Baseball Rule
JS>book at the park.
JS>I'm living in Texas now, and my wife and I got Season Tickets for the
JS>Rangers this year, and wanted to get a copy of the 97 Rule Book.
JS>However, I don't know where to get the Official One.
JS>I've seen several books in the Book Stores that list rules, and have
JS>guidelines, but none was the Official Rule Book. The thing I'm
JS>talking about was about pocket size, and had rules broken down in
JS>numbers like 1.0.0, that kind of stuff.
Please don't take this the wrong way. But, first i like to ask you
if you just intersted in learning about the rules of the game. But not
a fan that wants to know the rules better so he can cause trouble at
games when a bad call is made. Also if you don't mind i like to use you
as an example for any baseball fan out there that does get his or her
hands on a rule book for MLB baseball. It's great that you want to
learn the rules of the game. But don't think that it will make it
possible to change a bad call, since you don't have any authority to
change the call, you only can live with it. And to bark at the
officials is wrong, since they are doing their job. And you got no
right to treat them differently because of a bad call.
