Was rigging up a rather silly little trick on my board -- biggest interlacing
of MEX, MECCA, menus, keys, and such-like I've tried. Three or four hours
into it, though, I was brought up short by a small problem.
I can't get at the upload/download protocols.
What I need is -something- -- possibly implemented as a menu command -- that
immediately downloads the queue, -without- asking for additional file names.
Also helpful would be some kind of send()/recieve() set of MEX functions, but
the menu command might be the simplest thing.
What I've been trying to set up is something that throws a user's key when he
downloads a specific file. I was only able to implement this as far as
scanning the queue -- if someone simply goes to (D)ownload, punches the file
in there, and grabs it, I can't toggle the key. I figure to get around that
by taking the download option out entirely, leaving the 'Tag' option, and
adding -anything- that will let me download.
[By the by, that's not the -only- thing I killed three or four hours on. I
was also setting up a random file displayer, paging through a book for good
chunks to quote, and learning MECCA and MEX at the same time. d: (:]
