I caught up in 1 second, actually.  DEL \POINT\MSG\AVTECH.* did the trick.

I still have AVT areafixed, but will now x-post replies to AVT messages in
LOCUSER instead.  I won't be posting in that echo any more though, as I
don't really want to encourage them.  :)
