Not necessarily so!  In fact, I am encouraging and supportive of most any 
communications that will support SCANNERS AND SCANNING.  I am not confident 
that FidoNet and/or this echo will last all that much longer, so alternative 
means of everyone staying in touch relative to SCANNERS AND SCANNING is an 
acceptable ON-TOPIC subject.
That means Internet -=connectivity=- is an ON-TOPIC subject.
Please feel free to carry on .... within a reasonable latitude.
