The mere fact that throughout the years the Moonie Church had to
subsidize the Washington Times with literally BILLIONS of $$$, speaks
volumes about it's content and management.
This isn't the only time I saw a conservative media outlet go under like
this.
Our local cable company used to carry during the 1990s, a commercial
network called "National Empowerment Television."
A television network for conservative information and opinion.
And they had some good programs, but a lot of nutjobs too like the John
Birch Society.
Yet even though NET was a commercial network, they had to do PBS-style
begathons, to raise money for operating costs.
Finally in...(looks it up) 1997 they folded.
