No, that is not what Amy is saying, and it is not what Amy thinks Gore
is saying, and it is not what I think Gore is saying -- and, if Gore's
words are to be taken to mean exactly what they say, it is /not/ what he
is saying.
There is a difference between overstating a point and repeatedly
hammering it home. The danger that Gore says he is willing to risk is
not the danger of misrepresenting the facts, but the danger of being
perceived as a monomaniac.
