It actually happens more often than I stated in my message.  It will happen 
randomly in the midst of dialing a list of BBSes - the countdown without 
actually dialing.  I sure hope Winfred releases a fix for it as it is 
EXTREMELY annoying.

I hope so too, but am concerned.  Tried to send Winfred a message
regarding this, found that he was no longer a correspondent on the
conference.   The system refused to send to him, something to the effect
that he was no longer registered.   Ummm....

i used terminate b4 and it was i think 3.0 pro.. and i didnt like it.. 
becasue while u d/l in TElemate u can also go to dos , and + telemate has its 
own editor so u can go and rite some mail or whatever whle d/ling.. it has a 
better scroll back ssytem :) and it s got clipboard..
anwyas i aint here to argue about whjich is beta .. so cya
