Yes, "Friday" is the name of a book written by Heinlein. Friday is the main
character in the book, a female soldier. It's one of his books that I like
becuase it's one of the few that doesn't drag the Lazarus Long crowd in to
wind the plot up
Heinlein is considered a philosopher of sorts. It was Asimov that was a
mathematician/physicist
