ST> OOoh...I like my birdie kids so much better than my human
ST> kids...don't miss the human kids at all..;)
Heh heh... plus when they're noisy, you can put the cover
over their cage and hush them up!
ST> My Scooby Doo (first male tiel) just loves to clean off my
ST> dining room table...loves to pick something up and walk to the
ST> edge and drop it on the floor then turns around to see if I'm
ST> going to pick it up...;)
My parrot does that too... if i let him on the table after
dinner, he removes all the crumbs and chunks, and drops them
off the table. Too bad they're not that neat in their own
cages! :->
ST> Well hopefully very soon she will have a mate...I'm sending a
ST> check out tomorrow for another lovebird...a breeder I've got to
ST> know on IRC is going to ship one to me...hopefully it will be a
ST> male and she will like him...;) I can't help it...it hurts to
ST> watch her go through this...so she will be getting a chance to
ST> have real eggs...in about a month or so...;) They will have
ST> seperate cages...and I have a breeding cage to put them in that
ST> will be neutral territory....;)
Hope you have good luck with them... what do you do with the
babies? Do you sell them thru pet stores? We went to a bird
fair last month... they had normal 'tiels going for $30/each.
Almost got one, but felt a little leery about the lack of a
health guarantee, and not knowing the breeders. Do you think
if/when the time comes, it would be better to deal with a local
breeder?
