But he's not mentioned receiving the message, which is odd. At any rate, all you have to do is to run LORDCFG.EXE. Under Game Options, there is an entry named Clean Mode. Set it to ON if you want LORD to use Clean Mode. If your LORD game is for adults, set Clean Mode to OFF. Last time I posted to this guy, the Prism BBS html interface software made two copies of my message. I hope that does not happen again. Some IGMs such as The Outlands Tavern have different dialogue for some events based on whether a player is married and/or whether LORD is running in Clean Mode. But in the long run, if you allow children to play LORD, you are just going to live with the fact that it is a game for ADULTS, and it will have some aspects their parents may not like. But if the BBS sysops don't prevent access to adult-oriented games to children using their boards, that's THEIR program, not LORD's. That is my personal opinion on the subject. LORD is nowhere going to be sexually explicit, unless you run a LORD menuset that uses a lot sexually explicit dialogue. You'll have much worse stuff in any other door game such as DOOM. Its up to parents to make sure their children don't have access to games that are not suitable to them. As one of the primary LORD authors of this decade, I do not think it is our job to play "policeman" for BBS sysops. If your bbs users are too young then block access to the bbs door games that are not suitable for them. Merry Christmas greetings to all of my BBS and LORD friends.
