*** Quoting Michael Nellis from a message to Laurie Campbell ***
MN> Ah, yes. The old "we're the downtrodden, oppressed minority so we're
MN> allowed to curtail the rights of the oppressors and do to them what
MN> they did to us" attitude.
MN> Idiots.
I spoke before the SEnate and House Committee Hearings on Custody and Access
of Children of Divorce, and was followed by the feminazis afterwards. I
think my days as an invisible subversive are over. RCMP undercover know I
was followed. Threats have been made against Senator Cools
LC> I've always been fascinated by that
LC> particular behaviour - being violent to prove that you're
LC> not violent, I mean.
MN> I tend to find it rather amusing; in a clinicaly detached sort of
MN> way.
So do I, though it isn't actually funny at all.
MN> I think it will help if you remember that they also have a human
MN> side. The wife beater is actually a pretty decent softball player.
I think it takes more than that. Understanding why he needs to hit to get
his point across. Most abusers feel that they're ineffective, that the can't
be heard any other way, that they *must* hit because they have no choice,
that no one is listening to them or caring about them, and that the victim
isn't hurt. They are disconnected from the effect their behaviour has on
other poeple becuase they have felt all their lives that nothing they do has
any effect.
LC> Does for me ... but then 2 minutes of wrestling for the clicker is
LC> enough foreplay for me, so perhaps that doesn't count
MN> Two minutes, huhmm? Are you especially ticklish or what?
Not ticklish.
