Consider the effect on the VDU of repeated fast change of illegal (or
even legal supported) screen format.
I have seen advice from manufacturers when choosing a new screen, that
changing screen setup live (without reboot) is not advised as it can
significantly shorten tube life..
Must sniff out my ADI docs for a quote.
