Ok, I just saw this in a picture in June 1997 Digest. The driver of a
north bound NR freight train is exchanging the staff with a south
bound XPT. There are a few places in Victoria where this still happens.
One of them is the northern end of the metropolitan Upfield line,
although that is soon to become history.
