We probably feel worse about it than most of the "natives" in that we,
you and I, may know more about the biology of the destruction.
However, I too am encouraged by the outcome.
Now if we can just stop the "yankees" from running over the key deer,
killing our snakes and shooting bull alligators that eat $5000.00
hunting dogs.  Did you read about that last one?  Could not believe it!
Some FOOL paid 5 grand for a dog.  He lost it, traced it to the belly of
a huge bull gator via radio collar in its stomach.  They killed the
gator to get the collar back.  Guess the yahoos thought the dog was
still alive!  And we're supposed to be the species with the brains.
