Hello Tony! 18 Apr 03 01:00, you wrote to Ross.Cassell: TI> Undoubtedly someone is leaking memory fast and eating the swap file. Locate and expunge the TI> offending gorpware, I doubt its something in the XP ship group. The Swap file using Windows defaults of 1.5g, remained unchanged. On a whim I disabled GOBACK and the excess disk activity appears to have stopped, I re-enabled system restore. I am down to 55+ gigs free, but I accepted the default for 12% on drive C, so if it took 8 gigs for its own restore points, thats darn close to being right. Had I not disabled Goback, I would have been down to 50+ gigs free (remembering that sys restore at the time was disabled) after it sitting overnight, I will check it again this afternoon. If I am right, GOBACK was the culprit. == Ross Official Fidonet Region 18 Home Page: http://www.region18.info BBS: http://www.the-estar.com:8080 - telnet://the-estar.com ross{at}easternstar.info | ICQ: 5305939 | Blog: http://www.iblog.us ...
