Much historical information is also available about the Apollo 1 accident at http://history.nasa.gov/Apollo204/ and about the STS-51L (Challenger) accident at http://history.nasa.gov/sts51l.html , as well as general Shuttle history at http://history.nasa.gov/shuttlehistory.html on the Web. In addition, the NASA History Office has added on-line versions of two books to its Web site. Biomedical Results of Apollo (SP-368, 1975) is available at http://history.nasa.gov/SP-368/sp368.htm and What Made Apollo a Success? (NASA SP-287, 1971) is at http://history.nasa.gov/SP-287/sp287.htm on the Web. The former was edited by Richard S. Johnston, Lawrence F. Dietlein, M.D., and Charles A. Berry, M.D. The latter is a collection of eight articles by various authors reprinted from the March 1970 issue of Astronautics & Aeronautics. Special thanks to volunteer Chris Gamble for formatting these publications for the Web. Also, Aviation Week and Space Technology is holding a contest in which the public may vote to pick the top 100 people associated with flight's first century.
