G'day Bill,
Replying to a message of Bill Grimsley to Jeff Green:
BG> Neither has been particularly prolific for ages now, with Ed pissing
BG> off a month or so back, and RTL posting maybe 3-4 messages a week in
BG> AVT, tops. Maybe you screwed up your netmgr.cfg and deleted half the
BG> PKT by mistake! :)
No, no mistake. I also kill any message written to them, so if someone has
answered them, I never see those messages either.
JG>> Rod has his own cfg file.
BG> Sure Jeff, I believe you. Really I do. :)
The normal one is called netmgr.cfg, Rods is named netmgr.rs and called
with -C parameter. I love that .rs at the end, it seems so appropriate :-)
This allows RTL & EL to send mail to me personally which is copied to
my personal message base and then killed from the original message base.
Rods also get killed from the personal message base.
I prefer two config files because at some stage in the future I'll probably
untwit Rod (the others are gone for good). It's much easier to REM out a
line in my .cmd file than to screw around with the netmgr config file.
Regards...Jeff (jeff{at}grntrs.dialix.oz.au)
