I run a Maximus/dos BBS and decided to see if I could change over to OS/2.
Since I have written many little programs (C) for BBSs, I found that I must
now write and compile them for OS/2. For this purpose I have GNU emx 0.9b
(pardon me if this is not the correct way to say this, as I am very new to
OS/2) and have compiled one of my simpler BBS utilities OK. This was
background for the BIG question. I wrote a program that answers the phone,
gets the CID info and then creates a batch file which loads Maximus.
QUESTION: What do I need to make a similar program in OS/2? I used MCOMM
and Borland C/C++ 3.1 to create the dos program.
Also, I would appreciate any recommendations about a good programmer's
editor. I use the Semware editor in dos. I tried sedit255, but it didn't
cut & paste properly for me.
Thanks,
