This looks like a batch file problem, Joe.  I don't know which mailer you're 
running but here's the way I have mine (InterMail/Maximus):
A typical DOBBS.BAT created by the mailer:
EXEBBS 26400 2 675 /Arq 1
EXEBBS.BAT (node #1):
Max -b%1 -p%2 -t%3 -e1 -n1 -s115200
 > What??  I'm using X00 locked @115200.
Worst FOSSIL for Windows.  Almost anything is better-- ADF, BNU, WinFossil.

Been there, done that, out hundreds of dollars, should've stuck with Max. ;-(
