there is one other issue nobody here has mentioned.
If you relay thru your ISP's server and that server gets blacklisted
(because of the same reasons people are blocking dsl subnets) then you're
hosed. However if you are delivering your own mail then a blacklisting of a
spamsource on your ISP isn't going to affect you. You will only get
blacklisted if your server is used to spam.
