I looked around my old code and figured out what I did. I wrote a script something like that and had it simply display the file and for adding things it appended it to the end of the file. I provided a "packing" utility that could be run after each call to cut the file to the desired number of entries. It just read the entire file and only kept the last X number of entries and re-wrote the file. Pretty simple to do really.. David Stumpf ...
