        I've heard about pirates and smugglers but had always
        thought this sort of thing only occured well offshore...
        I mean, international waters.  I guess they must be
        getting pretty guttsy these days to be doing that sort of
        stuff so close to shore where there is usually an excellent
        chance of there being more than just a handful of other
        boats within hailing distance.
        I'd like to be a pirate, but then I'd probably have to
        buy/steal a power boat! :)
