| subject: | Unload DLL from OS/2? |
Peter Yao wrote in a message to All: PY> Is there an util for OS/2 to unload a DLL module currently PY> residing in memory? There are utils like PM Patrol that PY> displays what modules are currently in memory and I'd like PY> to select the ones that I want to unload... thanks. This is handled automatically, as far as I know. If the DLL is in memory, you probably don't want to unload it. Even in the rare cases where you can do it, such as with DLLs brought in by the REXX RxFuncAdd() call, it is not safe to do an RxFuncDrop() call because some other process might be using the DLL. -- Mike ---* Origin: N1BEE BBS +1 401 944 8498 V.34/V.FC/V.32bis/HST16.8 (1:323/107) SEEN-BY: 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 712/407 515 SEEN-BY: 712/517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 323/107 150 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
