So, you are saying that because a wheelchair bound person is free to set up
their own "Eastern Suburbs Tiddlewinks Supporters Club" then the
existing club can tell the HREOC to piss off about providing wheelchair
access to the second floor clubhouse?

I don't think so somehow. Freedom to set up a segregated organisation
doesn't count under the DDA. In fact it would be seen as exactly the kind
of attitude the Act was written to stamp out, so probably would count
against them badly...
