PE> Presumably you had a TH1 sitting in your inbound mail directory on 19/5 PE> and your Binkley's zmodem told my Binkley's zmodem to skip the file. KR> definitely not, the mailer.bat has the line "del 0000fffa.*" in it Now explain how his log shows your Bink refused the TH1 KR> how is mail refused? afaik all of the transfer is handled by KR> the two binkleys, mine hasn't been touched for 12 months, you KR> seem to be fudging yours on a fairly regular basis so where is the KR> greatest probability of the the problem being? (hint: at your end (: ) Thats a tad economical with the truth when you also say your system has been completely rebuilt 'end to end' too. PE> The big problem with that theory is that I have the Binkley PE> logs, and they show that your system skipped the file. If PE> you'd kept the logs, you would have seen that on your system PE> too. If you don't keep the logs, you don't score one ounce PE> of credibility when you make claims about it being my end. KR> as you know who would say, means nothing, if your bink had KR> a brain fart and decided, on it's own that i had refused the KR> packet, then it would have put it in the log wouldn't it? the KR> only real way to check this sort of thing is with a line monitor. Yes, but the thing you cant get around is that it didnt happen with anyone else, just you who have rebuilt your system from 'end to end'. Three guesses what that makes it look most likely where the problem is ? I wouldnt mind betting that if you had had your logs, that it would have showed the same thing, your system just refused it. KR> btw, were we short of mail today, there seems to KR> have been a few new messages and a lot of old dupes. There were some dupes in HDCONF yesterday, didnt notice any anywhere else. Yesterdays volume was on the low side, but nothing outrageous, just the volume you normally see atleast once a week. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
