*unless* you still need to use FA methods like i do with my hybrid system
which is based on FD's FA methods... i have to convert from FA to BSO or
fileboxes for some of my connections... at this time, i am not of a mind to
drop FD and the capabilities it gives my system(s)... i'm also not of a
mind to switch to BSO or fileboxes for everyone...

i will admit, though, that fileboxes do offer a neat option in that
anything placed in them is sent to the destination system the box is
designated for... with other FTN methods, one must manually attach the
"anythings" to the destination system... definitely not so as i
proved to myself years ago when i used the old DOS copy command and simply
copied a random file to a filebox and watched it get sent within minutes ;)
