JDG> To be honnest, I'm just pointing you in a direction JDG> without experiences of my JDG> own with DIVE and graphics in OS/2. JDG> DIVE functions are ordinary API functions. I browsed JDG> these functions briefly and they require no PM JDG> parameters (don't shoot me if I'm wrong). A dive program (even full-screen dive) starts out as a PM program. If you want to write/port asm code to do the graphics, that's just fine --but your program will have a shell PM program to handle menus and the like (which is best written in something like C) A fs-dive program is switched to full-screen mode by a user keystroke (I think it is alt-home), at which point many PM functions (menu messages, for example) will not be sent anymore, until the user switches back to PM mode. --- Maximus/2 3.00* Origin: Sol 3 * Toronto * V.32 * (905)858-8488 (1:259/414) SEEN-BY: 50/99 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 259/414 400 99 250/99 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
