No way. You always have to hunt through the files to find out what new,
unless you have time to follow the mail that comes from this group and click
on all the new stuff as it arrives. I don't have that kind of time. Mostly I
do what I've always done with BBS groups, and that's just check for my own
mail (stuff for me), or investigate interesting Subject lines. If I sat and
read all the mail that comes through this group I'd get nothing else done.

 True they are not restricted as to who can view
-> them. You must be one of the 190 members of the group.
->
And with the system I suggested, you could limit that to just those invited,
if you wanted to. I like that you can comment on the pictures, right in front
of you, like back in the old e-circle days.

-> Sure it is fine, and your lack of spam indicates there is no spam
-> originating from a groups membership.

This past week I got 4 messages from Yahoo groups asking for verification that
I wanted to join their groups. I never asked to join them. I never heard of
them, so some "Yahoo" has been trying to impersonate me or something. -

 Which is what I say, and as
-> there is none of the spam I feared, why not have it routed home, so as
-> soon as a message appears it goes into your computer for later reading.
-> Using the separate folders and filters to sort your email, as described
-> below, you can make that happen.

Ya, I know how to do that, but I don't want to do that. I don't think
of "echo mail" as e-mail, but rather an nice diversion for when I
have time
to "play". I'll continue to go to the site when I'm in the mood,
or have the
time. If it came as e-mail, I'd have to be in there deleting it all the time.

 Of course if you are happy reading
-> online, thats OK too. On a dial up connection, I didn't like to keep
-> my phone tied up for long periods of time while I played on the web.

I do all my e-mail while online too. It's not a problem as I have Internet
Call Display and can answer the phone easily if it rings. I don't miss calls,
and I always know if it's a telemarketer too, and then I just don't accept the
call.

-> -> Bo> I suspect Bob Gearhart or Karen can supply you with
the ones they
->  ->  Bo> frequent.

Well, I tried
