this is not a case of activating a virus by unzipping a file, it is
simply a case of activating a virus by executing an infected program...
don't you think calling up the help screen for that version of pkzip
would have also released the virus?
the fact that the infected file was pkunzip and that you happened to be
trying to unzip a file at the time you released the virus is purely
coincidental... it could have easily been any other program and you
could have been doing anything else with it...
would we then be able to say that you could get a virus by doing
anything? no... that would be absurd and it would be uselessly
underspecified information that would scare people... you only activate
a virus by executing it...
