Things change. Twenty five years ago I had to wait six month for a free
pair of wires when I moved for Dokkum to Driebergen. Mind you when you
already had a phone and moved to another place you had priority over new
applications. So I had priority. Now they guarantee you have a working
phone within 5 work days. When the line is a;lready there you normally have
a working phone within three days.
