That's all that's really needed! I have the same arrangement here, with
a CNAME record, so that I can administer the URL to IP function myself, if
ever my dynamic IP should change.

RC> I own the domain name and via my registrar, I point the nameservers for
RC> it to dtdns, I pay dtdns $20/yr for the service..

So do I ('felten.se') except for the pointing thing. I pay almost
exactly the same, 144SEK/year, and get not only the full DNS service but
also 500MB storage for email and web, and an unlimited amount of email
addresses, that can use whatever is left of those 500MB, for mailbox
storage, at any given moment. So I have set up mailboxes for most of the 26
known Felten in Sweden (we are all "offsprings", by birth or
marriage, from my grandfather) with mail addresses like 'bjorn (at) felten
(dot) se' -- how much simpler can it get? :)

 RC> I also have a backup address of eaststar.no-ip.org

That's what I use the Canadian service at yi.org for. I guess you can
remember why I don't exactly like US based services like dyndns, with their
arrogant approach to local laws in all the tiny, piss-ant little countries,
in the world outside of the US of effin' A? :)
