i have a pre-1Meg ROM chip ZyXEL internal U-1496 modem that i'd like to
upgrade to something more current. i have the necessary instructions,
know-how, and diagrams to upgrade this board to use the 1Meg ROMs. the
only thing i do not have is the ROMs or a burner to burn the code into
them. i'm looking for the ROMs and hopefully can get them preloaded with
the necessary ROM code. preferrably, the latest for the U-1496...
all information is greatly appreciated. at this time, this unit has
great trouble connecting with anything that uses any of the new v.34
features :(
