In the state of Alabama, you can legally drive a motorcycle up to 250
cubic inches at the age of 14 with a motorcycle endorsement on your
regular learner's permit.  After 16 and an operators permit, no
endorsement is required, but is permitted in order to comply with other
state's requirements.
