THE OS/2 WARP4 OPEN INVITATION

Dear PC User -

The purpose of this chain letter is provide an OPEN INVITATION to
an exciting worldwide demonstration of OS/2 Warp 4, the latest version
of IBM's award winning 32-bit operating system, scheduled for SATURDAY,
OCTOBER 26, 1996. As an experienced PC user, we believe you and
your colleagues would greatly benefit from attending this demonstration.

Launched by IBM on Wednesday, September 25th, OS/2 Warp 4 (code-named
"Merlin") includes a variety of new features that can enhance your
productivity at home or in the office, such as:

* Speech Navigation/VoiceType dictation (to command the computer to
perform basic tasks and to dictate letters and notes).

* Embedded Internet access (for example, you can now command the
computer to "Open Yahoo" and it automatically starts your web
browser and Internet dialer taking you to the Yahoo web page
   http://www.yahoo.com/)

* Merlin turns your computer into a "universal client," allowing you
to plug into any major Network Operating Systems; e.g., OS/2
Warp Server, Novelle NetWare, Banyan Vines, Windows NT, etc.

* Over 80 native OS/2 programs developed by 3rd party vendors
to help you at work or home.

* Plus, several other important technical improvements, such as
   full JAVA support.

You can see a full demonstration of this advanced new technology
at a city or town near you. OS/2 CUSTOMERS are conducting a special
independent demonstration of OS/2 Warp 4 on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH
at computer stores, universities, and other institutions around the globe.
On this day, OS/2 users will network over the Internet to demo the
features of Merlin and construct a map of the world.

To locate the nearest "Connect the World with Merlin" demo site,
please see our web page at:

or e-mail the Project Manager, Tim Bryce, at TimB1557@aol.com

PLEASE KEEP THIS CHAIN LETTER/INVITATION GOING!

We would like to think of this letter as more of an invitation
as opposed to a chain letter. Please help us get this in the hands
of interested parties:

IF YOU ARE AN OS/2 USER, please send a copy of this letter to at least
five (5) other OS/2 users, and at least five (5) non-users. The more
the merrier!

IF YOU AREN'T AN OS/2 USER (yet!), please forward this letter to other
friends and business associates who may have an interest in this area.
This would include anyone with an Intel-based PC (386 or higher), wants
to easily connect to the Internet or other networks, and needs to
perform multiple tasks simultaneously (that covers a lot of people
doesn't it?).

Thanks for your interest and we hope to see you on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH!
