Yes I trust the Paragon Cable hiring will help a blind person
find meaningful employment.
I noticed the 25 month delay in becoming eligible for the benefit
package. Wow what a waiting period.
In Canada, there used to be funny rules on pension plans and an
awful lot of people found themselves fired about 3 to 6 months
before they would have had entitlement to their employer's
contributions to their pension plan.
The law was changed a few years ago and this practice is seldom
done now.
Is a 25 month waiting period common in the U.S. generally or the
southwest to have new employees receive employer sponsored
benefit packages?
In Canada it varies, but between 3 and 6 months is pretty common
but not many firms have fringe benefits to start with.
