subject: Re: Problem - X00

Fossil problems are normally associated with wierd stuff in the bios, and not
so much processor speed. I've seen machines where x00 refused to work when
loaded high, and others where it worked dandy fine. I've even seen laptops
that neither x00 or bnu could run on (wierd problems with carrier detect).
Running the old "opuscomm" solved all those problems, as I think it's trying
to do things simpler and easier.
Don't listen to people that swear that "fossil xxxx version x.xx runs great
here, so you must be doing something wrong!", as it is very machine
pendant.
Cheers,
Mel
