Polly! Maybe someone was trying to call you when you were typing your
message to me -- just the funny characters!
Not at all unusual for a nat. mother to deny any/all information when
confronted by the relinquished child. We see it happen over and over again,
and normally, it takes time, time, and more time to remove the denial, and
pass on to acceptance. Again, some nat. mothers/fathers don't want to be
found because of their present situations - family, spouses, etc., and thus
the denial. They just don't want to explain anything to anyone, and to deny,
is easy. But living with that denial is very difficult. People usually do
come around even if it takes time. Let me know how it works out. Marie
