Does anyone out there have the Project Lo CD _Dabblings In Darkness_?
Project Lo is Bon Lozaga (guitars) and Jim Loretangeli (keyboards),
with various guests.  Pierre Moerlen (Gong) plays percussion on the
first song.  Percy Jones (Brand X) plays bass on most of the songs.  I
don't recognise any of the other guests.
Anyway, it's a fairly jazzy sounding album.  Lozaga plays only
acoustic guitars--no electric guitars to be found.  This makes for a
fairly restrained album -- no shredding here.  I've had it for a few
months and listened to it maybe five times.  It's not a great album,
but it has a lot of tasty stuff.
My favorite songs are "Dark Desert Moon" (the one with Moerlen on
drums--he adds a lot too it), and "Summa" with some wonderful violin
and viola, as well as some nice sax (most of the other songs have sax
as well).
Contrary to what the title may make it seem like, the album is not at
all dark...
