I feel your pain.  I had to report a department head for downloading some
unsavory stuff awhile back -- that was a hard decision for me to make. I
wasn't even checking on him at the time, I was just looking for telltales
of a virus in the internet logs,  to see if any users had been infected. He
didn't get fired, but he did get talked to apparently.  Nobody likes this
guy either, but I do think he tries to be liked...
