JF> That isn't going to happen. DVD-ROM drives for PCs cost
JF> $500 Canadian, which is more expensive than an entire N64
JF> system - plus a game or two - right now. Sega's emphasis
JF> is on the graphics this time, and as such the most
JF> expensive parts on the Katana are undoubtedly the 3D
JF> hardware and its memory.
It must have been a rumor then. I don't really even care. I
never had a SEGA system. And I never will. I HATE Sega.
JF> Actually, I think the Game.com has the Mortal Kombat
JF> Trilogy, not just the most recent individual incarnation.
Oh, I though it 3.
DM> Wasn't there a cutting edge portable 5 years ago, I think it
DM> was called LYNX. It had color and all that. Who bought one?
DM> Better yet, I'll look for it.....in that closet where
DM> consoles go when they die.
JF> I think some people bought it, but its maker - Atari -
JF> messed up with it, as they seem to do with any hot
JF> technology. In this case, I think a poor selection of
JF> titles did it in.
How long did the Jaguar last? I saw an ad last year for it.
I was like a last ditch attempt to get rid of them.
"Why buy a N64 for $299.99 when you can get a 64 bit
Jaguar for $150.00?"
How pathetic!
