These sound like good suggestions. But as I think I have mentioned before, I
do not have any internet access whatsoever at the current time. Local ISPs
all want about $15.00 to $20.00 a month for internet access -- money I do not
have. A job is also something I do not have - so until things change, I am
afraid "anything-internet" is something only the Blue Fairy could grant me.

I might write to these folks. This sounds like something I *could* do.
While I am on the horn here, I do have two questions:
1 - Is talking about Disney movies and tapes now OK? The subject was closed
down when Kit Ballantyne started posting all manner of wrong information
about Disney tapes, etc, and when myself and others responded, it developed
into a month long debate. That's all done with now, for at least 3 months,
so I was wondering if Disney movies, tapes, and laserdiscs is now OK to talk
about? After all, it's Disney's movies that constitute "The House that Walt
Built", and I can't see talking about movies, (or tapes, DVDs, lasers, or
whatever) as being off topic for _too_ long...
2. Once in a while, maybe twice a year, I used to post a list of movies I
had available in response to messages from people looking for certain Disney
movies for themselves or their families. Those messages seemed to be okay,
and it was upon that notion I did the Disney 101 Dals display message. If
there is absolutely no discussion to be allowed on the echo about Disneyana -
the pursuit of Disney collectables and treasures though, (which you are
alluding to in your message to me) - well, I think that is pretty
restrictive. Disneyana (Disney merchandise) is probably the 2nd largest
domain of "Disney", (the first is their movies); Disneyana covers everything
from videos to old lunch pails, to MacDonalds toys, to old paint sets, to
Disney collector cards, to metal wind-up toys, to old posters, to Disney
board games, to Little Golden Books to Disney 45's and LP's, to old
viewmaster reels to - gawd, the list goes on and on. Disneyana is so
popular, that there is even a national magazine, Tomart's Disneyana Update,
on the subject; every issue lavishly illustrated with dozens of color pages
depicting Disney collectables old and new. If all this - if all Disneyana -
especially the buying of, selling of, searchig for, or collecting of, is a
now banned topic, and if Disney movies continue to be a banned topic too, (as
per decreed during the Kit threads) then that leaves really, only one major
"Disney" thing left to discuss here - which would be accounts of people's
trips to Disneyland, or WDW, opinions on rides and the parks, how the kids
liked the rides and shows at the Disney parks, the new Disney light parade,
etc, and maybe some light discussion of Disney Channel programming or
whatever. But that seems a very narrow definition for an echo that's
supposed to be about all things Disney. It would reduce the echo to a
travelogue echo basically, or a "Disney Diaries" echo - accounts of
experiences at Disney parks - and that isn't very broad. If that is to be the
fate of the echo, perhaps it should be renamed "DISNEY_TRIPS" so that the
name can indicate what the echo is supposed to be about.
Anyhow, as always, I welcome your thoughts and any feedback...
