Not sure, but I think that's where they actually ended up, instead of
wherever it is that the troops are currently located (Rwanda perhaps, I
forget now).

I doubt that too many of them really gave a fuck anyway, although now that
the coalition has lodged an official high-court challenge to the election
results (WRT to the 16 vote margin in Mundingburra), they could well have
been fairly significant votes after all.  Labor has retaliated, and is now
challenging the 43 vote losing margin in Greenslopes.

And guess who ultimately pays for all of this legal bullshit anyway?  :(
