Assuming you ran mailer.bat.  You might like to answer why you 
called 3 times in the one day unless you were doing something
unusual.  Not to mention that that came a short time after you
explicitly said that you had lost a day's mail due to stuffing
around (some people simply refuse to heed simple advice to back
up incoming packets as the very first thing they do).  BTW, disk
full is also another reason that your Binkley would have skipped 
the file.

No need to go to that extreme, there is a specific protocol that
results in a file being skipped, there is no doubt about the
characters getting through OK.  And BTPE 3.03 alpha has the
ability to debug every incoming and outgoing character into a log.
It produces so much data that I can't really run it unless I know
there's going to be a problem though.
