Hi James
James Rabbited on to Stephen : Like a old washer woman
JM> Convicts are more sensitive to water conditions, then some other
JM> cichlids. Make sure you do a 10% water change every week or so and try
JM> to keep the water near 7.3pH.
Done that, appart from during the summer when the water temp shot up
the waters been O.K.
JM> Also, as with many cichlids, care most be taken when adding more of the
JM> same type fish into the tank. Since convicts can be very territorial,
JM> one may decide the whole tank is his and allow other type fish to live
JM> in HIS tank, but heaven help a convict intruder, esp if it's smaller
JM> them the one you have in the tank.
Sadley this was the last of the Convicts to live in the tank the
female died over a year ago, also this Convict has been in the tank
for 5 years upto now, but sadley at the time of getting this message
the Convict died.
Now the wife wants me to change over to a community tank so I'm not
allowed to put Convicts or other Chiclids in the tank:-((
Bye for now
